*Implementation of New Rules by MOL*

Dear all,
I would like to bring to your attention that Saudi Ministry of Labor has implemented new rules on (How the housemaids should be received at airports)
[Previously, all housemaids from all countries got held by immigration upon the arrival until the sponsor comes to receive the housemaid,
in case the sponsor failed to receive the housemaid within specified time, the immigration will transfer the housemaid to Ministry of Labor's accommodation.]


The new rules say:

1- No housemaid will be held by immigration anymore, they will exit the terminal just like any other passenger.
2- The Saudi Agency ( not the sponsor ) is the only responsible to receive housemaids from the airport.
3- Then the Saudi Agency should accommodate the housemaid and coordinate with the sponsor to receive the housemaid.
4- In case the housemaid got lost inside the terminal or picked up by a wrong representative, a penalty will be issued.
5- In case the housemaid arrived with no uninform that indicates the Saudi Agency name, a fine of 5000 SR will be issued against the Saudi agency, then Saudi Agency will add this fine against the .florigen agency who has recruited and send the housemaid without uniform
6- In case the housemaid arrived without giving a notice to the Saudi agency to receive her from airport, then the housemaid will definitely be lost inside or out side the airport, a fine of 5000 SR will be .issued against the Saudi agency, then Saudi Agency will add this fine against the florigen agency who has recruited and send the housemaid without uniform
7- Those rules were implemented on 1st Jul 2019 in Riyadh and Dammam, and on 1st Nov 2020 in Jeddah.


Therefore, we should both prepare ourselves to handle the new procedures accordingly:

1- A uniform with our Saudi logo and contact numbers should be printed on a t-shirt or on a dress or on a Cap or scarf, that the housemaid will wear. ( Saudi agency should send you a clear file of the logo and information ).
2- Pre-scheduled flight should be reserved, very short notice flight may cause confusion the will led to penalty if housemaid arrived with no representative to receive her.
3- A full briefing from your side is required on how to follow the airport signs or follow the passenger next to her until she gets out of the terminal.
4- A full briefing from your side is required to confirm the Saudi agency logo that the representative will be holding while waiting for her.
